Thanks to the railfan grapevine I was aware that an eastbound intermodal out of California that was heading my way on the Baird Sub on August 4th was led by UP 1995 the CNW heritage locomotive. When it was getting close to me, due to partly cloudy skies I decided to catch it coming by Iona siding about five minutes from home. At 8:08 am I was ready for this view as the train accelerated past my location.

I heard the train would be delayed at Tower 55, so I moved on ahead to a spot just east of there so I could work in the Fort Worth skyline. I scored these two photos of its passing at 10:30 am.

Nothing else interesting was nearby, so with this catch of the day accomplished I headed home.
