I did not get out January 1st or 2nd, so it took me until January 3rd to photograph my first train for 2025. By chance it turned out to be another ZAILC “Laser” from Atlanta to Los Angeles, jointly operated by NS and UP. It is represented by this day’s train powered by two NS and two UP units with a much longer train than the version I caught on December 31st. The train is rolling through Aledo, Texas about ten minutes from home.
