Four days later on May 26, 2023, I was fortunate to catch another interesting train north of Saginaw, Texas on the BNSF. This time it was a northbound joint KCS / BNSF intermodal from Mexico to Chicago with two of KCS’s newest GE ET44AC units leading.
Now that the KCS merger with CP has been implemented, the days are numbered for scenarios like this to occur.
