The View Out Back

The View Out Back

After several long blog entries, here is a short one. On September 12th I was heading back to my car parked in the Trinity Metro parking lot on East Eighth Street out back of the headquarters building. A southbound BNSF autorack train was passing by on the overpass on the way down to Tower 55. Suddenly the crossing signals for the TEXRail/TRE tracks at street level activated and I saw the opportunity to catch a commuter train coming or going from the man-made tunnel under the building.

I swung the camera up on its shoulder strap and a few seconds later an eastbound TEXRail train (number 108 “Spike”) popped out from under the building. I like how the composition turned out and wanted to share it.

I supose this would qualify as an “urban landscape”?
